Windhorse Prayer Flags Lungta
Lungta (Tib. རླུང་རྟ་, Wyl. rlung rta or ཀླུང་རྟ་, klung rta) literally 'wind horse' is a mythical Tibetan creature symbolizing the inner air or wind of the body and related aspects of the Buddhist path. By extension, Lungta has also become the name of practices (sadhana and prayers) related to —and causing the flourishing of— Lungta.
This is a handmade prayer flags that is printed with Tibetan Mantras along with wind horse.
The Tibetan word for prayer flag is "Lung ta", meaning, "wind Horse". When wind blows (expressing the quality and nature of mind) the sacred prayer flag flaps in the breeze.
The prayers written on the flag are carried by the wind, and your own mind to all as a blessing. By viewing the flags you are reminded to pray for the welfare of people, and to be mindful of the motivation to be kind, compassionate, and stay joyful throughout the day.
This prayer flag contains 10 sheets of flags Blue, White, Red, Green and Yellow each representing different elements. When the prayer flags and mantras have faded away, put up a new prayer flag. If you no longer want the old one to keep hanging alongside the new one, kindly burn or bury them respectfully.
