One of a Kind 4 in 1 Prayer Wheel Stupa Chorten
This is a very unique and one of a kind Copper stupa chorten which has 4 prayer wheel as its pillars. The two lined Om Mani Padme Hum Prayer wheel rotate individually. The Stupa chorten is highly decorated with Tibetan designs and symbols.
The top of the chorten features a Gajura, (triangular or pointed object placed on the top of temple or stupa) along with four Buddhas inside a window temple and the mid pillar holding the top also has four Buddhas at each side.
The chorten, amazingly opens up at the base where there is a huge square space for incense burning. The base and the top are hinged and the whole top opens up revealing the secret compartment for incense burning. There are several small holes at each sides of the base which work as the exhaust.
These are some of the finest works from Nepal. Combining the rich Tibetan tradition of rotating a prayer wheel around the stupa is highly represented here. This work of art is one of the best examples of Tibetan arts and crafts made in Nepal. The work details on this beautiful piece is very worthy of an applause and takes upto 15 days to complete. Our artisan has put his best skills and ancient technique to use while making this excellent work of art.
