Goldplated Vajrapani Ghau Pendant with Lapis Stone
This is a handmade silver sterling goldplated Vajrapani Ghau Pendant with Jogini inside.
This Tibetan Ghau Pendant is beautifully made with Lapis Stone and semi precious stones decorating the full outer surface. The beautiful work of filigree along with placements of the semi precious stones give this pendant a great look. Very popular among Tibetan people, these ghau pendants have been gaining rapid popularity in the western world by followers of Buddhism and quite collectible.
Completely handmade by sterling silver, this pendant is fully gold plated. In the outer cover, the deity Vajrapani is seen. Vajrapani is depicted holding the vajra in his right hand. He is sometimes referred to as a Dhyani-Bodhisattva, equivalent to Akshobhya, the second Dhyani Buddha. Vajrapani's manifestation as Dharmapala, often seen sporting a third eye, ghanta (bell) and pāśa (lasso).
Once opened, there is a beautiful filigree work upon which Jogini has been represented. The back part of the cover has been carved with Tibetan Kalachakra.
