This is a beautifully crafted Green Tara Statue. This copper oxidized statue is very intricately crafted in Kathmandu. This statue is a high quality one for its size. Standing at 6.8 Inches tall, here the Green Tara is seated on a lotus pedestal.

Green Tara appears as young beautiful maiden. Her body is green in color. She has one face and two arms, wears a crown bedecked with five Buddha images. She sits on lotus throne in Lalita attitude in half lotus posture. Her left hand shows the gesture of refuge vows and right hand the varada mudra because she is quick to answer the petitions of those who seek her aid. Tara is known as the great liberator from eight kinds of danger or fears. The cultivation of Tara sadhana will eliminate all demoniac and karmic obstacles, eradicates disaster and lengthen one's life span.

Green Tara Statue

i felt a big blessing when this statue arrived. Nepacrafts have sourced excellent devotional pieces and their mailing with DHL is fast and reliable. This is a great help to practitioners when we are unable to know when we can travel overseas again. I think the sculptor has a special gift to impart a lively aspect to the statue which transmits the spirit of Tara immediately. Thank you for making this statue available.
