Traditional Mixed Prayer Flags
These prayer flags are made of terry cotton in our workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal. Each terry cotton piece is cut into appropriate sizes and then wooden block printing is done. After the fabric has dried, they are tied and stitched together in a long durable string. This tibetan prayer flag has 10 sheets of flags in each roll.
Prayer Flags are auspicious flags that contain images of Dieties, Mantras, and Prayers which is traditionally believed to bring happiness, peace, prosperity, good fortune, health and victory over the obstacles. Prayer Flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength and wisdom. Prayers inscribed on prayer flags protect from destructive evils and obstacles toward the flag planter and all sentient beings.
