Hindu Lord Ganesh and Auspicious Symbol Clay Wall Hanging
This is a very detailed hand carved and painted wall hanging from Nepal. This hanging is made of clay with Lord Ganesha. The Ganesha is encircled with Tibetan eight auspicious symbol.
Ganesha is one of the most popular guardian deities worshiped in Nepal, India by Hindus and Buddhists. Ganesha is said to be the deity of eliminator of obstacles. To begin any auspicious work or enterprise, Nepalese adore Ganesha with the hope that they may accomplish their work successfully. Sadhanamala and Nispannayogavali are described as the forms of Ganesha.
This wall hanging is has been amazingly carved giving each details perfectly. The outer border of the wall hanging is carved as a flame in golden color. Double dorjee is carved and hand painted that encircle the Tibetan auspicious symbol.
