By finding the path to Enlightenment, Siddhartha Gautam was led from the pain of suffering and rebirth towards the path of Enlightenment and became known as the Buddha or 'awakened one'. These whole story is carved in this wonderful statue.

Here, Shakyamuni Buddha is seated in Dhyana Asana or Meditative Pose, also called Padmasana. In this position, the legs are crossed, closely locked with the soles of both feet visible. Shakyamuni Buddha is seated on lotus beautifully painted. The face of the statue is gold painted.
