Majestic Gold Plated Masterpiece Chenrezig Statue

This is a masterpiece statue of Chenrezig skillfully crafted by our fourth generation artist. This 19 inch high statue is fully gold plated and has the most intricate and detailed carvings. The carvings on the robe through out the lower part is unmatched. The carvings of Double Dragon, Cheppu and floral motifs add more glory to this beautiful and powerful statue.

The two hands of the Chenrezig is folded in the posture of Namaste and the other two hands are raised close to the shoulders holding lotus and garland in an infinite loop. The crown covers the head and flows down to the neckline. Two big floral earrings are pierced in the ears which elongates down the shoulders. The Chenrezig is seated in the EK Padma or Single Lotus.

Four Arm Chenrezig is the Buddha of infinite compassion. The four arms signify the four immeasurable attitudes of love, compassion, equanimity and joy.

This practice develops our ability to have an open heart and love through meditation on the deity of Chenrezig. The mantra of Chenrezig is the most widely recited mantra in the world of Tibetan Buddhism and has great power for developing a good heart.

Some precautions you should keep in mind when cleaning gold statues.

• In the case of gold painted on face, do not touch or not to clean with cold water. Gently wipe the dust with soft cotton.
• Do not use scrubbing cloths that are highly abrasive. Similarly, avoid using steel wool or metal bristled brushes as they will leave scratches on the surface of the Statue.
