Fish On A Leaf Clay Incense Burner

This is a beautiful example of Nepalese pottery. These clay incense burners features fish on a leaf. Completely handmade by women artisans of Thimi, Bhaktapur near Kathmandu valley. Fish is considered as an auspicious creature denoting fearlessness whilst swimming in the ocean of misery and suffering.

These incense burners have two holes, big one to hold the Tibetan Incense and the smaller one to hold the incense with wood sticks.
